The Neferon Beta Is Open
Dear players,
The Neferon beta is open: one oldschool 7.4 world with 1x experience, skills, magic and loot. No resets, no wipes. Every character starts on Rookgaard and buys spells from the teachers for gold, as in 7.4.
Living Hunt
Pull a monster away from its spawn and it follows you across the land instead of vanishing. Let it go and it stays out for 30 minutes before it despawns; walk it back home and it settles into its spawn again. Tiered monsters roam the world in limited numbers:
- Touched – 100 alive at once, counts as 2 kills, experience ×2, loot ×3
- Marked – 30 alive at once, counts as 3 kills, experience ×3, loot ×4
- Chosen – 8 alive at once, counts as 5 kills, experience ×4, loot ×5
Hunter's Contracts
16 contracts on the contract boards, plus a Daily Hunt whose target roster changes every day. Contracts pay Hunter's Seals; the seals do not drop from ordinary kills.
The Bazaar
List items at the market in town for gold or Neferon Coins. A listing runs 7 days and costs a 2% fee (minimum 20 gold). Buyers message the seller and you meet to trade; both sides confirm. The payment reaches you even when you are offline.
Houses
Stand in front of a free house door and say !buyhouse (level 20 or higher). Rent is due every two weeks. All houses are listed on the Houses page.
The Store
63 products: outfits with both addons, premium scrolls from 7 to 180 days, name and sex change, character transfer, multi-tools, Egyptian backpacks and light relics. Nothing in the store adds combat stats.
